Michael C. O’Malley, ESQ.
Michael C. O’Malley is the Assistant Managing Attorney at the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and Massachusetts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
A seasoned attorney of more than 20 years, Mr. O’Malley started his legal career as a Public Defender in the Brooklyn office of the Legal Aid Society, where he tried more than 50 cases to verdict in two years. Since moving to civil practice, Michael’s cases have ranged from basic personal injury matters, such as motor vehicle accidents and slip and fall matters, to a multitude of complex Labor Law trials. Mr. O’Malley has served as an advisor to the Bayside High School Mock Trial Team, and continues to serve annually as a judge in the Hofstra University School of Law’s annual moot court competition.
Mr. O’Malley and his wife Nancy live in Rockville Centre, and they have three daughters. He is very active in the Oceanside/Rockville Centre community, where he coaches his daughters in (and is President of) the Oceanside United Soccer Club.
Education and Accomplishments
Michael is a graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as Research Editor of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team in 1996 and 1997.
