Jacob Setterfield Traub is an Assistant Managing Attorney at the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC.
Mr. Traub was previously an associate attorney at Stevens & Traub, PLLC, where he fought on behalf of construction and premises victims. In his practice, Mr. Traub voraciously advocated for his clients and took personal interest in ensuring a just resolution for each and every one. Mr. Traub’s previous experience as a construction laborer and as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board provides an innate understanding of union members and blue collar workers.
Mr. Traub’s interest in ensuring a just resolution for the average American worker led him to the Plaintiff’s bar where he continues to advocate for the downtrodden and underserved. Mr. Traub has engaged in negotiations on a wide range of complex cases, but takes the stance of preparing every case as if it will go to trial. Mr. Traub identifies with the belief that the Bar is best served when Plaintiff’s attorneys act as the last check on unmitigated corporate negligence. We serve our clients and the greater society as private regulators, ensuring future human activity is safeguarded from unscrupulous actors motivated by short term profits.
He believes that a jury of our peers is the bedrock of American democracy. Our peers, not an individual leader or elected representative, ensure an adequate and just resolution for anyone who comes before the Court.
Mr. Traub is barred to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals & the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
