Isabel Perez, Esq

Isabel Perez is an Associate Attorney in the Labor Law Unit at the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC.
Isabel earned her B.B.A. in Finance and B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Loyola University Maryland in 2021 before graduating magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2024. At Pace, she served in leadership roles with the Latin American Law Students Association, Immigration Law Society, and Military Veterans Society.
Isabel’s legal career spans diverse and demanding practice areas. She began as a legal intern at a Hudson Valley law firm, where she conducted legal research and drafted motions, settlement letters, and discovery demands in both civil and family law matters, including divorce cases involving complex financial records. She went on to work at several litigation firms specializing in insurance defense, labor law, and general liability, where she drafted dispositive motions, reviewed extensive medical records, and participated in mediations, depositions, and trial preparation.
She has experience as a fierce public servant. As a Legal Extern in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, she supported federal prosecutions by drafting memoranda on evidentiary and procedural issues and assisting with trial strategy. She also clerked in the Rikers Island Prosecution Bureau of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. In addition, Isabel volunteered with the Afghan Resources Center in the wake of the 2021 withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, assisting Afghan nationals in completing and submitting critical immigration documentation.
Isabel is fluent in Spanish.
