Michael Zogala is the Assistant Managing Attorney at the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC. He has been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 2008 and joined the firm in 2020 after working as a senior trial attorney at another firm specializing in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation. Originally from Canada, Mr. Zogala received his J.D. cum laude from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) in 2007, where he focused his legal studies on complex litigation and mass torts. While in law school, Mr. Zogala was an editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and he interned for various Judges of the Ontario Court of Justice. Mr. Zogala’s academic work has been published in the Canadian Class Action Review.

Since moving to New York, Mr. Zogala has become a well-respected trial attorney whose practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation on behalf of plaintiffs who have been injured as the result of motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents, premises accidents, and medical malpractice. He has successfully tried a substantial number of cases to verdict in all five boroughs of the City of New York, as well as Nassau, Westchester, Orange, and Dutchess counties. He has lectured to other attorneys on the areas of automotive cases and No-Fault threshold for continuing legal education seminars given by the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute.

In 2019, Mr. Zogala was recognized as one of the “Top 40 under 40” civil plaintiff trial attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers. In 2020, he was nationally ranked as a Top 10 under 40 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. He has counted a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York among his clients and he is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York.
