Albert Kim, ESQ.

albert-300x200-300x200Albert Kim, Esq. is an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC.

Mr. Kim has an extensive history of representing plaintiffs who sustained serious and traumatic injuries as a result of the negligence and/or malpractice of others.  True to the spirit of this law firm, Mr. Kim believes each and every case must be litigated zealously and aggressively to ensure his clients get their day in court as soon as possible.  Mr. Kim further believes that developing a strong bond of trust with his clients is essential for effective litigation.

Mr. Kim says a career in law has been his goal from a young age and, thus far, it has lived up to his expectations. “I love the court environment,” he says.  “Winning is the best feeling in the world and knowing you’re doing it for a client who’s been hurt and needs justice makes it all the better.”

Mr. Kim is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.  After graduation from law school, Mr. Kim served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Doris Ling-Cohan, who has since been appointed to the Appellate Term, First Department.  Mr. Kim then honed his litigation skills in the area of personal injury while working for multiple personal injury law firms throughout the New York City area.

Mr. Kim hails from Los Angeles, California.  He found his home here in New York City during law school and these days, he can’t imagine living anywhere else. “The crowds combined with the aggressiveness and rush of the city make New York City the ideal place to practice what I love. It’s wildly different from the relaxed LA vibe.”

Education and Accomplishments

Mr. Kim is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, class of 2005, where he double-majored in Legal Studies and Political Science. He obtained his J.D. from Benjamin N.
