American Airlines Flight 587

Our firm successfully represented many family members of victims of the fatal American Airlines flight 587 disaster in which a French Airbus 737 crashed shortly after departing John F. Kennedy Airport. All on board were killed as well as several on the ground. Our firm brought lawsuits against American Airlines and the French company, Airbus Industrie, G.I.E. in Federal District Court in the Eastern District of New York. Baby Drowned in Bucket

Our firm represented the parents of a one year old infant who fell into a bucket of water and drowned at the family’s apartment. The apartment had a continuously leaking ceiling that the parents had repeatedly complained to the landlord about. Instead of fixing the problem, the landlord gave the family a bucket to gather the water. Tragically, their baby, a thirteen month old infant, fell into the bucket and drowned.

Bronx Auto Death

Our firm successfully represented the family of a woman who died in a motor vehicle accident in which the driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The driver had initially claimed that the brakes in her car failed. Our investigation, however, revealed the true cause of the accident and the driver’s insurance company settled for the policy limit.

Bronx Double Murder

Our firm represents a Bronx man whose wife was brutally raped and murdered and his child suffocated with a pillow by an intruder to their apartment. The assailant was allowed to gain entrance to their building through the negligence of the apartment complex owner who failed to maintain any semblance of security to the entrance ways of the complex.

Ceiling Collapse

Michael S. Lamonsoff, Esq. was interviewed and quoted in an article in the press about his lawfirm's representation off ten New Year's Eve revelers who were seriously injured when a ceiling collapsed upon them as they waited and watched for the ball to drop on TV just prior to the New Year. Complaints to the building owners and management prior to the collapse went ignored. Several of the victims sustained respiratory injuries in addition to many other serious physical injuries.
