Teacher Sexually Assaults Child

Our firm represents a child who was sexually assaulted by his junior high school teacher. The teacher had on three occasions sexually assaulted and sodomized the child. Subsequently, the teacher was arrested at the school where he had taught since 1996. The teacher was sentenced to 4-7 years in jail. As a result of the assault, the child sustained serious mental injuries and is in the care of psychiatric professionals. Our firm has brought a lawsuit against The City of New York and the New York City Board of Education seeking justice for our client.
