Our firm represents a Bronx clergyman who was racially profiled and beaten by police. The Reverend was stopped by the police on a highway. With weapons drawn, the cops pulled our client out of his car, threw him to the ground and beat him. Notwithstanding his pleas that he was a Minister and that they had the wrong person, they forced him into a police van and he was taken to the 43rd Precinct. Once at the precinct, he was informed that his arrest was a result of mistaken identity and issued an apology.
