Our firm will soon be on trial, in a highly publicized fatal police shooting reminiscent of the Amadou Diallou case. In this case, two uniformed New York City police officers and a uniformed trainee responded to a domestic disturbance call at the home of our clients. One of the police officers fatally shot and killed the husband, a minority immigrant who the police claim was brandishing a knife. However, his fingerprints were never found on the knife. The deceased, who never had a problem with the law, left behind a young wife and two children.
