$1,000,018.00 awarded to the family of a 1 year old infant who fell into a bucket of water and drowned.  The parents had been complaining to the landlord about a continuously leaking ceiling in their apartment.  Instead of fixing the leak, the landlord gave the family a bucket in which the infant later fell into and drowned.

Our firm represented the parents of a one year old infant who fell into a bucket of water and drowned at the family’s apartment. The apartment had a continuously leaking ceiling that the parents had repeatedly complained to the landlord about. Instead of fixing the problem, the landlord gave the family a bucket to gather the water. Tragically, their baby, a thirteen month old infant, fell into the bucket and drowned.
