HERE'S A LAWSUIT WITH TEETH IN IT

After two Korean jindo dogs, Happy and Lucky, snatched Bear off a backyard fence and mauled the animal, the cat's owner, Joe Daniels, protested to his neighbor. That's when Happy and Lucky's master, Paul Kim, allegedly went ballistic, and took a couple of bites out of Daniels. Kim and his wife denied that their dogs attacked Bear, Daniels said. After the wife went inside, Daniels said, Kim lunged at his throat and twisted his gold crucifix chain, choking him. Arrest in Slaying of Mother, Child

Jesus Velazquez, 40, of 2167 Homer Ave., was linked to the double homicide of Gladys Cabeza, 29, and her daughter, Alexandria, through DNA left at the scene, police said. Police officials declined to elaborate.

Pamela Brown, 39, started the Web site www.off2hunt.com to tell how she was conned by her experience with Rick Kudlik, arrested Tuesday by real U.S. marshals on charges of possessing counterfeit marshal gear. But she herself served 106 days in Nassau County jail in 2004 for a forgery conviction, a sentence violation and failure to pay, records show.

Death of girl haunts victim in B'klyn mall drag race

Sixteen months after a Brooklyn drag racer slammed into his car, Lorris Caynes is haunted by the image of his then-girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter who was fatally injured in the wreck. "She was a sweet little girl," said Caynes, 32. "I loved her like she was my own."

COP KILLS MAN WITH KNIFE

Police were called to the home of Deonarine Matan, at 88-49 Eldert Lane Sunday night, who was fighting with his 18-year-old son, officials said. As Matan's wife was explaining the circumstances of what had happened between her son and her husband to police, Matan came down the stairs brandishing a 12-inch knife, police said.

She accuses Clearwater Associates, the deli's landlord, of negligence for not maintaining the sidewalk. Ashcraft's lawyer, Michael Lamonsoff, said that in New York, property owners - not renters or the city - are responsible for maintain-ing the sidewalk. But the deli is named in the suit, he said, in case it caused the sidewalk damage. BUMMER, DUDETTE: Julie Ashcraft, 45, is suing the former 2nd Avenue Deli over a skateboarding fall. They claim that as a favor for a friend, [Maria Isabelle Bourdier] had a green- card marriage with Silvestre Nunez Abreu in 1995 in the Dominican Republic. Nunez applied for but never received a green card. A lawyer for Nunez says the marriage was legit.

Johnny Tapia said his mother never lived, slept or vacationed with Nunez. "He's trying to take advantage," said Tapia, 29. "He never belonged to the family . . . I'm dealing with a ghost." Tapia claims Nunez hassled their mother to help get his green card. She got fed up, they said, and planned to divorce Nunez during her ill-fated trip.
